Position Overview: As a Database Administrator at OLP, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing Oracle and MS SQL Server databases. Your role is critical to ensuring the availability, performance, and security of our databases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, monitor, and maintain Oracle databases and servers to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Manage and optimize MS SQL Server databases to support business operations.
- Perform database backups, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
- Implement and maintain database security protocols to protect sensitive information.
- Troubleshoot database issues and provide solutions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the development team to design and implement database solutions.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of database configurations, processes, and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Oracle database administration.
- Working knowledge of MS SQL Server database management.
- Proficient in database performance tuning and optimization.
- Strong understanding of database security and backup/recovery processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Oracle RMAN, Data Guard, and ASM.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as PL/SQL and Shell Scripting.
- Knowledge of administering Oracle Database Appliance

Position Overview: As a Technical Writer at OLP, you will play a key role in creating clear, concise, and comprehensive technical documentation for our software development projects. Your work will ensure that complex technical information is easily understood by various stakeholders, including developers, end-users, management and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, edit, and maintain high-quality technical documentation for software development projects, including user manuals, API documentation, system architecture guides, and release notes.
- Collaborate with software developers, engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather information and translate complex technical concepts into accessible content.
- Ensure all documentation is consistent, clear, and aligns with the company’s style and standards.
- Update and revise documentation to reflect changes in the software as it evolves through various stages of development.
- Work closely with the quality assurance team to document test plans, test cases, and testing results.
- Manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Maintain an organized and up-to-date documentation library.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical documentation of medium to large software development projects.
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer in the software development industry.
- Strong understanding of software development processes, methodologies, and tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using documentation tools such as Microsoft Word, Visio, Confluence, Visual Paradigm, or similar.
- Ability to understand and document complex technical concepts and procedures.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
